Amanda Gutierrez has over 8 years of clinical experience administering psychological assessments as well as clinical experience in treatment of various psychological disorders. Such populations include, but are not limited to, Major Depressive Disorder, ADHD, Schizophrenia/Schizoaffective disorder, PTSD, Anxiety-related disorders, Autism and other behavior related disorders in varied populations including children, adults, families, and inmates. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as her Bachelor’s Degree from Florida International University. Ms. Gutierrez is currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida.

Ms. Gutierrez has several years’ experience in research as a research assistant, clinician, and assessor in various populations and studies at the Center for Children and Families at Florida International University. Ms. Gutierrez has provided treatment and assessment in Inpatient and Outpatient settings.

At Segal Trials, Ms. Gutierrez is a clinical rater on numerous research trials with a variety of indications. Ms. Gutierrez is responsible for conducting biopsychosocial and diagnostic interviews to obtain necessary psychiatric history, recruitment of appropriate patient population, cognitive and neuropsychological assessments, behavioral measures, and efficacy rating scales for a variety of children, adolescents and adults in inpatient and outpatient clinical research trials.
