Kate Templeton has over 9 years of clinical experience working in various inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. Ms. Templeton has experience conducting individual, family and group counseling for the treatment of various psychological disorders, including, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, schizophrenia, and substance abuse disorders. Ms. Templeton completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh, before obtaining a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University.
She has been involved in multiple research projects and spent the past 4 years gaining valuable experience administering assessments for a variety of neuropsychological and neuropsychiatric disorders. Ms. Templeton has worked with various populations, including adolescents, adults, professional athletes, and geriatrics in both hospital and private practice settings.
At Segal Institute for Clinical Research, Ms. Templeton is a clinical rater on numerous trials for a variety of indications. She conducts extensive biopsychosocial and diagnostic interviews to recruit appropriate patient populations and obtain necessary psychiatric history. In addition, she is responsible for administering efficacy rating scales for inpatient trials and is certified on dozens on cognitive, behavioral and CNS scales.
