Nicole Montalbano completed her undergraduate studies at Florida State University. There, she graduated Cum Laude and received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Ms. Montalbano continued her education at Barry University, where she obtained a Master’s Degree in both Clinical Medical Science as well as a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. During her medical training, Ms. Montalbano gained clinical experience working in outpatient mental health settings with both adolescent and adult populations.
Ms. Montalbano has worked in the diagnostic and treatment of a variety of psychological disorders, including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance abuse disorder, and major depression. She has also been actively involved with non-profit organizations that aim to help the adolescent/adult mental health and substance abuse population for the last 10 years. She has assisted in providing resources and scholarships to treatment programs for these individuals, as well as educating the adolescent to both heighten awareness of and to reduce the stigma of mental health disorders and substance abuse disorders.
