Michelle Amankwah joined Segal Trials as Controller in 2014. She manages all the accounting work for Segal Trials and affiliated entities; oversees vendor selections; manages the clinical trial management system; and plays a lead role in the preparation of the required financial statements, tax returns, and schedules of study-related analysis to support financial results reported to the executive members.
When she became a member of the Segal team, Michelle brought 20 years of experience in accounting, including 15 years in public accounting, with responsibilities spanning from audit, tax, and financial reporting. Michelle spent three years managing a portfolio of several high net worth individuals and assisting with their financial, estate, and tax planning.
Michelle holds a Bachelors of Science degree in accounting from Virginia State University, Petersburg, VA.
