- Clinical Operations Manager
Paul Martin has over 12 years of experience running clinical research trials. He has an extensive history in clinical research conducting Phase I-IV clinical trials in a variety of CNS and General Medicine indications, including Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Substance Use Disorders, Schizophrenia/Schizoaffective, ADHD, Alzheimer’s Disorder, Migraines, Diabetes, Hepatitis, and Pain. Mr. Martin has participated in trials in populations of all ages, from children/adolescents to adults and geriatrics.
Mr. Martin is a Certified Medical Assistant, with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, who has worked for Segal Trials since 2005. Mr. Martin began his clinical research career as a Research Assistant. He was promoted to Clinical Research Coordinator in 2011 and began running trials of his own. Since 2011, Mr. Martin has continued to coordinate and manage trials under many of our Investigators and has been promoted to Segal Trials’ Outpatient Site Manager.
As Outpatient Site Manager with Segal Trials, Mr. Martin oversees the everyday operations of three CNS outpatient sites and the Women’s Health Outpatient site. He is responsible for ensuring quality work at all the outpatient sites within Segal Trials. Mr. Martin works directly with each site’s lead to oversee daily operations of each site. Mr. Martin also works directly with the Director of Clinical Operations, Associate Medical Director and Recruitment Team to ensure each team is meeting its goals.
