• Clinical Rater / Sub-Investigator

Courtney Talbert has over 8 years of experience in the psychology field. She has worked as an applied behavior analysis (ABA) certified registered behavioral technician (RBT) and has always had a special interest in helping individuals on the autism spectrum and other neurodevelopmental disabilities, both through interpersonal therapy and research. She has experience with a multitude of psychiatric and neurologic indications including Major Depression, Schizophrenia and Psychotic Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Alzheimer’s Disease, Insomnia, and many more. Additionally, Ms. Talbert has experience in working with individuals of all ages from young children to older adults.
Ms. Talbert has also been involved in several research projects throughout her educational training, many of which included administering various cognitive tests and assessments to individuals of all ages and abilities. She received her undergraduate psychology degree from Ithaca College and earned her Master of Science in Applied Psychology from Lynn University.
At Segal Trials, Ms. Talbert is a Clinical Rater on several research studies comprised of numerous indications. She is responsible for conducting diagnostic interviews, and rating assessments to obtain pertinent psychiatric history and current presenting difficulties in order to place patients in the appropriate studies. Currently, Ms. Talbert functions as a Clinical Rater who is heavily involved in psychiatric and neurological conditions composed of outpatient and inpatient personnel. Additionally, Ms. Talbert also performs as a cognitive rater who is certified on various behavioral and syndromal related assessments for pediatric and adulthood populations.
