Sharon Faur has 2 years of clinical experience in the mental health field. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Florida in 2017. Most of her field work has focused on Schizophrenia, Memory Loss, and Autism. She has experience with both inpatient and outpatient populations and has worked with a wide variety of patients from children to older adults.
Ms. Faur has experience collecting and interpreting data from teaching trial sessions for children with autism. As a research assistant in a Memory Loss lab, she focused on structural and functional changes in the brain’s anatomy. She has had ample training in conducting psychological interviews to gather psychiatric and medical histories and assess eligibility for research protocols. Her ability to determine whether volunteers are eligible for enrolling and upcoming trials is strengthened by her training and field work.
At Segal Trials, Ms. Faur serves as a Prescreen and Cognitive rater on several trials for various indications. At Segal, she is responsible for conducting biopsychosocial interviews, recruitment for appropriate patient populations and conducting a variety of cognitive and neuropsychological assessments and behavioral measures across many psychiatric and neurological indications.
