- Clinical Rater Supervisor
Kate Templeton has over 9 years of clinical experience working in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings with children/adolescents and adults. Both clinically and in research, Ms. Templeton has worked in the treatment of various psychological disorders, including, major depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, schizophrenia, and substance abuse disorders.
Ms. Templeton completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh, before obtaining a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University. She has been involved in multiple research projects and has over 5 years of experience administering assessments for a variety of neuropsychological and neuropsychiatric disorders.
At Segal Trials, Ms. Templeton is the Clinical Rater Supervisor. In addition to conducting diagnostic interviews and administering rating assessments, she helps to oversee the team of Clinical Raters for all sites within Segal Trials. Along with the Director of Clinical Operations, she conducts monthly trainings to ensure quality, improve inter-rater reliability, and mitigate placebo response. Ms. Templeton is also passionate about advocacy and education. She helps to facilitate community presentations to destigmatize CNS research and bring awareness to the importance of Clinical Trials.
