Michelle Chavez is the Marketing Specialist of Segal Trials, a consortium of clinical research sites specializing in Psychiatry, CNS, Addiction, Women’s Health and General Medicine. Michelle has a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication with a specialization in Advertising from Florida International University. Michelle has been in marketing management for the past 4 years, of which she has spent the last 2 years in clinical research. She leads and oversees the marketing, community outreach, and call center teams. Through the development of strategic campaigns and initiatives, Michelle is responsible for implementing recruitment campaigns and patient retention programs in order to meet the enrollment goals for Segal Trials. Additionally, Michelle is responsible for integrating any marketing initiatives with the clinical operations team to ensure recruitment and retention strategies are targeting unique study populations. These recruitment campaigns and patient retention programs include chart reviews and database mining, social media, paid advertising, a refer-a-friend program, patient appreciation events, community outreach events, and the mobile pre-screening program.
