Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services partnered with 2-1-1 to create the resources. Floridians can text FLKIDSMEALS to 211-211 to find the closest participating Summer Break Spot location with meals available. Residents can also call 2-1-1 to speak with a live operator for additional information
Local food pantries may begin facing shortages as the coronavirus pandemic worsens. Feeding Florida features a way to donate to nonprofits and community-based organizations that provide food and other resources to our most vulnerable populations. Feeding Florida also allows those in need of food to search for their nearest food pantry.

Senior Shopping Hours
Grocery stores around Florida have designated a special “Senior Hour” outside of their normal business hours to give those most vulnerable to the virus first access to food and necessities
Publix – Open for shoppers 65+ on Tuesday’s and Wednesdays from 7am-8am
Whole Foods – Open to shoppers 60+ one hour before opening to the general public
Target – Will reserve the first hour of shopping each Wednesday for vulnerable guests
Walmart – Will open one hour early every Tuesday for shoppers 60+
Dollar General – Will dedicated the first hour of each day to seniors
Fresh Market – Will dedicate 8am-9am on Monday through Friday for seniors
